Another Wet Week!!
This week was a little shorter with the Bank Holiday, but the work did not let up with some interesing jobs. 2 Toyota Landcrusiers required to have its rear boby mounting brackets replaced and a plate welded behind the rear shock absorber mount., NCT failures for a Honda CRV, Mazda MX 5 and several CVRT failures. We also started an old classic by fabricating new outer and inner siils.... we are hoping the weather improves to start on this really good example of an old Ford Cl

Wet week but the vehicles kept coming
After a very wet week we had many vehicles that needed attention, one that had a common problem was a Ford Transit needed repair work to the rear chassis due to bulging. We have two options for repairing these areas, firstly plating over the area concerned or fabricating a U channel. The former is the most commonly required by CVRT testers.

Another Busy Week
After a wet week for us all, another busy week at Reactive Welding. We completed several interesting projects such as the BMW 6 series, Nissan ZR 300 and a Isuzu Trooper. Busy week

First Week of 2026
The last few weeks was a busy time, as we enter the first week of 2026 we had a full diary of NCT and CRVT vehicles, and our current projects coming to an end Landcrusier and a RX 300. Nissan Navara
This customer asked us to strenghen the rear of his chassis on his Nissan Navara as they can crack over time!

Toyota Lexus
In the last few months we have had a few Toyota Lexus in for replacement sill, we always advise to replace the complete sill.

Busy week for Range Rovers
We had a busy week welding Range Rovers, all showing the same areas of corrosion at the rear jacking points and rear wheel arches.

Welding CVRT failures
This week has been quite hectic with transit vans, welding the usual areas. The transit workhorse has been so reliable for many of our customers that we are more than willing to fix the problematic areas. Most transit panels available for next day delivery, we can swiftly repair the areas.

Peugeot 504
The Peugeot is starting to come together, unfortunately require som extensive repair on the passenger side A pillar.

We started repairs on the Peugeot 504, there is extensive corrosion around the vehicle.

VW Transporter
Unfortunately the corrosion on this transporter was quite extensive on the drivers side sill!

Monza
Had this nice Monza come in, UK import some welding around the front chassis area.

Range Rover L322
Common welding fault on a lot of Ranger Rover L322 is the rear inner sills connecting to the rear inner arch. This week we had to repair this L322 on the inner, outer, jacking point and the inner arch.
