October SAAB Repair Update

This month begins with a common issue observed in SAAB vehicles: corrosion in the inner rear arches. As illustrated in the accompanying photo, the corrosion is localized around the suspension mount.

Repair Overview

The repair process is straightforward; however, it comes with a significant risk of fire due to the welding involved on the inner components. To ensure safety during this repair, we will need to:

• Strip the interior of the vehicle

• Have a colleague present to monitor for fire hazards
